Managing Director & CEO
Nicholas is a chemical engineer and accomplished executive leader with a track record of building and scaling businesses in mining and mining services. He brings extensive experience in capital markets, M&A, and gold production. A former Board member of Kin Mining (ASX: KIN), he is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Graeme Sloan
Executive Chairman
A mining engineer with more than 35 years of experience, Graeme has held senior leadership roles with listed resource companies across the gold, base metals and mineral sands sectors in Australia and the Americas. He brings extensive expertise in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, operational management and ESG governance, and previously served as a Non-Executive Director of Kali Metals (ASX : KM1).
Jim Harris
Non-Executive Director
Jim is an experienced executive with a background in construction, engineering and resource sector projects in Australia and overseas. A former director of multiple listed and private companies, Jim combines legal and commercial acumen with a focus on sustainability and governance.
Brett Dunnachie
Non-Executive Director
A Chartered Accountant with over two decades of corporate experience, Brett is the Chief Corporate Officer at Emerald Resources (ASX: EMR), where he played a key role in the development of the Okvau Gold Mine. He brings expertise in corporate governance, compliance and capital markets.

Dean Vallve
Chief Operating Officer
Dean brings extensive operational expertise in geology and mining, with a particular focus on the Western Australian gold sector. A graduate of the WA School of Mines, he also holds a First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate and an MBA, reflecting both his technical proficiency and strategic leadership capabilities.
Martin Bouwmeester
Company Secretary & CFO
Martin, a Fellow CPA, brings deep expertise in exploration, development and operations. He has held senior finance roles at Orion Minerals and Perseverance Corporation, contributing to Orion’s projects and Fosterville Gold Mine’s success.
Travis Vernon
Geology Manager
Travis manages on-the-ground exploration and drill execution. His background in structural geology and field mapping is instrumental in unlocking new discoveries across Golden Horse’s tenure.
