THE BEST PLACE TO FIND A GOLD MINE IS NEXT TO A GOLD MINE

About Golden Horse Minerals

Golden Horse Minerals is a gold exploration company which has consolidated the rights to a large highly prospective area covering one of Australia’s most successful gold provinces in the Southern Cross region of Western Australia.

The Golden Horse tenure is more than 932km2 within a large geological phenomenon known as the Southern Cross Greenstone Belt.

The Belt spans approximately 400km in length and has produced more than 12 million ounces of gold. It is one of the top precious metals provinces in Western Australia.

The Greenstone belt consists of altered intrusive and meta-sedimentary rocks which are supported by two operating gold mills at the Marvel Loch and Edna May processing plants.

Our focus

The Company’s focus is on a northern portion of the Greenstone Belt known as the Fraser Shear Zone which is modelled to extend approximately 35km.
The Belt spans from the Copperhead mine which produced ~1.5Moz (next to the town of Bullfinch) to the Frasers mine which produced ~1.2Moz (next to the town of Southern Cross).

The Fraser Shear is of particularly interest because of a deep history of production coupled with a lack of modern exploration, with much of the historic drilling only testing to a depth of approximately 50m.

In addition, the Shear Zone has experienced a relatively fractured ownership history, in part due to competition amongst the various producing operators and also its location within a mixed agricultural/mining region. This backdrop of splintered control has further intensified a lack of belt-scale exploration within the area.

Golden Horse has actively consulted with a wide number of prospectors, local landholders and explorers in order to consolidate its Fraser Shear Zone tenure and is continuing to look for further opportunities to expand its tenure.

An outstanding opportunity

With a strong ground position along the region’s most prospective tenure the Company finds itself in the box-seat to take advantage of this substantial opportunity and has already commenced activities to unlock further gold ounces through high-quality, systematic exploration directed at new prospects as well as extensions to the historic mining sites
.
In addition to containing high-grade gold, the greenstone mineralisation is also prospective for nickel as well as platinum group elements (PGEs) and lithium – amongst otherpotentially valuable minerals – and the Company will continue to advance all options to deliver value to shareholders.

Golden Horse is led by a team of experienced management that have proven experience in the Western Australian Goldfields region as well as a demonstrated track record of successful exploration, consolidation and monetisation of assets.
